Location

John McLaren Park is located on Mansell Street and John F. Shelley Drive, in the Diamond Heights District of San Francisco San Francisco. Ample parking is available.

By Car

From 101 heading south

Take the Paul Ave. exit. It places you at San Bruno Ave. and Mansell St. Go straight onto Mansell for 1 mile to Shelley Drive. Take a right onto Shelley and continue until you see the Amphitheater sign.

From 101 heading north

Take the Paul Ave exit which puts you on Bayshore Blvd. Continue on Bayshore to Paul Ave. Take a left on Paul Ave. to San Bruno Ave (1 block). Take a left onto San Bruno Ave. and go to Mansell. Go straight onto Mansell for 1 mile to Shelley Drive. Take a right onto Shelley and continue until you see the Amphitheater sign.

From the southeast part of SF

Take Silver Ave. and go west to Cambridge St. Take a left onto Cambridge and continue until it becomes Shelley Drive. Bear left onto Shelley and continue until you see the Amphitheater sign.

From the Mission District

Take Mission St. to Silver Ave. Take a left onto Silver Ave. and continue to Cambridge. Take a right onto Cambridge and continue until it becomes Shelley Dr. Bear left onto Shelley and continue until you see the Amphitheater sign.

From the southwest part of SF

Take Ocean Ave. to Mission St. Cross Mission St. where Ocean Ave. becomes Persia St. Continue on Persia where it enters McLaren Park as Mansell St. Continue on Mansell to Shelley Dr. Go left onto Shelley and continue until you see the Amphitheater sign.

Parking

Parking in the designated parking lot is limited. A better bet is to park anywhere along Shelley Dr. and walk along the Drive or across the fields to the amphitheater.

Public Transportation

The 29 Sunset bus will take you inside the park, on Mansell Drive. The 29 picks up at the Balboa Park BART station. The 52 from Forest Hill and the Excelsior also stops close to the park, as does the 54.

Shuttles to the park and a bike valet will be available -- more information forthcoming.

General Information

There are no ATMs at McLaren Park, so please bring adequate cash to participate in our vendor fair.

Food and drink will be available for sale.

No alcohol will be sold.

We encourage you to bring a sweater and a jacket (it is San Francisco after all) and a picnic blanket for the large grassy area, which has a great view of the stage.

We highly recommend you arrive by 11am. The show starts at 11:30 and you don't want to miss anything!
