Cross the river to hear a diverse group of graduate fellows from U of I's various programs (Writer's Workshop, Nonfiction, English etc.) give a reading at the Painting House (109 River St.) This event, which is free and open to the public, features a reception and an exhibit of artwork by graduate painters and printmakers. Many studios in the building will be open for public viewing at this time.

Directions to 109 River St: The Painting House is located on the west side of the river on the UI campus. The street you want, River Street, runs perpendicular to the Museum of Art on N. Riverside Drive. 109 is the first house (villa-style, brown brick) on your LEFT as you climb River. Fraternity houses are opposite.
