Welcome to the 10th Anniversary of The Mission Creek Music and Arts Festival.

Since its inception, MCMAF has tried to bring you the best of the local music and arts scene and this year will be no exception. The festival this year will take place at various venues around the city, from May 14th to the 22nd. Notice our new website design by Lianne Mueller of Fly Design, put together by techie, Eric Grotke. The website includes FAQ's and a registration link for bands.

This year we are partnering up with indie labels to produce band showcases, including indie label extraordinaire Tiger Beat 6. We are working with curators such as Beth Lisick to curate some of the literary events, Danny Plotnick for the film, and Tony B of the Hemlock for music. We are also working with 12 Galaxies on an outdoor music concert on Sunday May 21st. Visual artists, performers, and musicians will collide once again at Collision brought to you in partnership with The Lab. Our media partners The Bay Guardian, and KUSF will be around to help out this year again.

New this year is our expansion to the Midwest, Iowa city. MCMAF co-producer, Andre Perry will be putting together an amazing line up of mostly Midwest acts, at various venues throughout Iowa city, from March 29th to April 1st. Also, new to this year is a celebration of the comic book and graphic novel. Co-curated by Shannon O Leary, features both local and international comic book artists, including Gabrielle Belle, Lauren Weinstien, and many more. Jeff Ray, Megan Hickey, Jon Fellman, Heather Snider, and Andre Perry of the MCMAF crew thank you for supporting the festival throughout the years.
